How one recording moves

Follow these gates in order. Each gate has a different decision.

1Review recording Keep usable source footage or reject the whole recording.
2Cutting work Recorder proposal, staff cutter, or assigned public cutter owns boundaries.
3Review cut Approve final clip boundaries or request a revision.
4Review captions Approve or correct generated text for every clip.
5Export data Create immutable snapshot; another admin publishes it.
Important routing rule: accepting source footage does not approve a proposed cut. If phone submitted a proposal, it goes to Review cuts. Otherwise it goes to Staff cutter. A staff-routed recording can later be assigned to public cutters from Cutting work.

How: play or drag timeline, mark start, move to end, then keep range. Repeat for every usable section. Time outside green ranges is excluded.

Delete recording data

Permanent storage cleanup. Video, sensor bundle, staff cuts, segments, and captions are removed. Minimal tombstones, submitted worker-cut JSON, and point ledger history remain for audit. Exported data and settled rewards cannot be deleted.
